Seniors Fall to the Freshman During TCP Math Competition

        December 17th was an exciting day for all classes at TCP. Not because it was the day before winter break, but because that was the day they would have a math competition, hosted by Mu Alpha Theta.
        The competition included questions from Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry. In the first round, the freshmen unfortunately lost in a very close call to the sophomores. Afterwards, the juniors and the seniors went up. The juniors beat the seniors in another close call, putting them in the finals with the sophomores.
In the competition for third and fourth place, the seniors went up against the freshmen. Sadly (very sadly), the seniors lost, putting them in fourth place and the freshmen in third.
     In the round for first and second place, the juniors beat the sophomores by a long shot.
      Said junior Loren Kline, “It was… awesome! We kicked [their] butts and it was awesome!”
      Sophomore Lauren Ryan was okay with the defeat. “I feel pretty stoked because I got second, and it’s better than what the freshmen got…we were a little worried.”
        Rachel Winters, a freshman, was pretty excited about beating the seniors, “It was pretty epic. I feel pretty good about it. I don’t feel that bad about getting third place, I think we did pretty good.”

New Parking Policy: Original parking permit will cost $65.00 which will last for three years. If you lose your sticker, there will be a $20.00 fine for replacing it.
